Used my new fgx chassis last night , along with the new inboard front shock conversion.
Quite a nice setup , I think it has potential for sure.
I like having droop adjustment , along with easily found springs ( if they venture from your pit station - lol !) , plus a better range of ride height adjustment.
Will it make you faster ? - probably not. But it does look even more realistic.
The new set uses a zero degree upper camber plate and has offset insert in the lower arm mount , so camber is adjusted via the lower instead ........
Bear in mind , that the shock can fly apart , if the ball cup comes off in a crash. It didn't happen to me , but there isn't anything there for retention of the spring.
Also, preload is achieved via some old style clips. One of which was broken on the parts tree. I suggest that many of these will end up with a proper oil filled damper set. I will be looking to do this for sure .
