. However I use to run it in my Losi SCTE and I hit everything with that truck and it never skipped a beat. The servo has all metal gears but one. Its a heavy duty nylon type gear. Thats the one that keeps getting broke. Wondering if I should try a savox servo.
Haven't had issues with servo gears in a year of running this truck. How tight is your servo saver? Tighter than the manual suggests?
IMO, stay away from savox. Some will say they have no issues with them, some like me will say that they have had nothing but problems. I had to get an external bec... even with a rx8 esc to run it.
If you are looking to change brands, look at the XP DS1015. About $20 more than the savox. So far I love it and I have ran airtronics for years.
