It's not standard you have the alloy shock towers and the alloy steering assembly. You don't "need" any other upgrades but it is nice to have the rear cvd's and centre ones. You can do a mod to the batterie tray so you can lay batterie flat but that's a 50 50 argument to being any better. Another thing to do is run esc behind the batterie to balance weight better and to remove the esc/receiver tray and replace with abit of carbon fibre above centre diff.
For tyres calibers are good all round, I-beams are good and so are grid irons on clay.

Check the jammin scrt forum it is more active and basically the same truck.
