every part that is steel or metal will rust, even after just a few hours, if humidity is let to stay on it
or if it is stored in a humide envirement
so if you take care of that and oil every steel part like axles, drivesafts, gears, rods, bells, bearings..
and store the car inside the house,you will be ok
you can use wd40 and wipe off the most, if you store the car for a long time, use plenty
