I think control of front tire slip/scrub in corners is one of the areas in 1/12th car design that is ready for improvement. The sedan guys figured this out a while ago and have gone towards steering geometry with almost zero Ackerman. This stops the inside tire from scrubbing in corners.
Jason at BMI was working on this 2 years ago but stopped due to lack of excitement about the idea. It's funny how a gifted engineer can't cause a change but a 15yo driving phenom winning a worlds can.
