Has anybody used the M2C rear adjustable toe block system? Any comments?
I have been using them for a few weeks. Was using the optional Losi adjustable blocks and this is what I noticed.
M2C
4mm pins = stronger, but requires that you drill out the arms but drill is included
tapered hinge pins = less binding
Rear block offset so you can run stock or longer wheel base
Adjustable toe and anti-squat
Delrin inserts stronger than Losi hard plastic inserts
The tapered pins are good especially if you run a lot of toe. The way it works is as you add toe you spread the rear part of the arms outwards to add toe. This causes the hinge pins to also bend outward, since the pins are not tapered this spreading can cause the ends of the pin to bind in the insert, especially if you run a lot of toe.
M2C blocks, inserts, 4mm drill and 4mm hinge pins
M2C block is offset so you can add spacers to increase the wheelbase slightly.
M2C 4mm tapered pins vs stock Losi 3.5mm straight pins.
