Finally, an actual 417 question, how does it go with 2 gear diffs? I know the new kit will come with a spool on the front but previously when running TC I always found a spool virtually undriveable so my preference will be to run 2 gear diffs!
13.5 boosted seems to be the popular class for clubs. Mod seems to have disappeared of the uk scene. Although they will run it at the BIWS this winter.
I use two gear diffs, and my 417 is fantastic. I dont like a spool, it is too agressive for my driving style. I use the TRF VG oil (no leaks). I run 2k in the front and 800 in the rear.
My car is excellent, loads of corner speed and predicable handling. (I am running 13.5 non boosted at my club as its quite a small track).
