I've been running the HMX M1 for two weeks now (17.5 carpet) and just wanted to report that the car is awesome. I don't have the corally gear diffs yet but using the spec R front and rear. The build was really nice, great fit and finish on the parts. I did have to use a shorter cvd in the rear to make the spec r work. I've gone to a stiffer 19lb spring in the front and 45f 40r shock oils, 500k front and 1k rear in the diffs and the car is pretty dialed. I've just been making minor camber adjustments from there. Aluminum shock towers have not been a problem at all and they look great. I have some sway bars on order and I think that will really tie it all together. Anyway, I hope to see some others getting on board with the car and posting setup info.
