Oh yeah, that was my first time running shorty pack too..... I wanted red / white springs but they didn't have them in the shop so I had to settle for yellow / orange. It's funny...you seem to have run your battery much further forward than I did.

I started dead center... then ended up moving it back so that the beginning of the pack was just lined up even with the Ubrace. I needed more forward bite and that helped. Ultimately all of my handling issues all weekend (prior to 2nd round on Sat) were because the tires weren't broken in.

I ran mod as well, but just ran my 17.5 and used it to test stuff and scrub in tires. I did try my 8.5 in one of the practice runs and the car was pretty awesome but my lap times were pretty much the same as my 17.5 lap times (still way too rusty). Figured since I wouldn't be a threat to finish top half in mod, I would just use it for the extra track time and in the end it helped me.
