I've been playing with balance too. Right now I'm runing a Castle mmp esc with a Tekin 2050 motor with a Gen Ace 4000mah 60c 4c pack. I can get around 14 to 15 min on a track that has a 170' front straight. That pack weighs 473 grams and it's a soft pack which works fine for most club racing. Right now the price of that soft pack is $59.31. If I need a R.O.A.R. pack I use the Gen Ace 40c 5000mah hark pack that weighs 562 grams that're right at $56.75 right now. I ran my new eb48 and both my v4 d8 and my v4 d8t at our home track today that's 130'x90' and had a blast today. It would be nice to go to the track we race on but it's a 120 miles south of my home. I really like the way my eb fly's but I still can't get it to hook up as good as my v4. At our last race of the season I got creamed, came in dead last. I averaged about 2 seconds per lap slower than my v4-d8. The races b4 that I had awesome finishes. Our track can be rough so the light weight of the eb is a handicap at times.
