With my skill level, I often prefer to give up a little speed/power to have slightly lower temps, such that I can run and run without worrying about burning up a motor (also goes back to my cheapskate nature, I hate burning up components/breaking parts). Speaking mostly to practice sessions. During a race I will probably use your gearing either way.

Are you running the radiopost blue for steering in the eb48? Do you think it has enough torque for the application? I will have one for steering too.
