OK, an interesting story here.
Our last race day, we didn't have enough turnout to race, so I practiced a little with Eby .
It was a little squirrley as usual on our blown out hard packed track, but I was still having fun turning 31s laps. It was really dancing trying to power down the bumpy straight, and really bounded after the right side double do to the deep divots after the landing ramp.

I had initially thought the buggy was over sprung do to the bounding action, but I figured "what the heck", and installed a set of Mugen springs all around. These were significantly harder than stock, and I figured the buggy would be terrible.

Boy was I wrong! The buggy no longer bounced excessively or bounded after the side double. Whaaaat? The buggy was much easier to drive, and now I was turning 29-30s laps!! Or very tough rhythm section was a piece of cake now.
Apparently, the rear of the buggy had been bottoming out in these areas!!??!! I was really liking the stiffer setup, but was lacking low speed traction, as you would expect. Otherwise it was great! Well...everything must come to an end, and my front shock tower and right front arm died after I got the landing very wrong off the giant double .
But wait.. I still had the innermost hole on the tower to use. So I fixed the buggy and mounted the shock tops on the inner hole. Guess what? I got my low-speed traction back!!
Kinda weird huh?

BTW- I just got my Tekno springs. Can't wait to try them out!
