they don't make the rod for them anymore so if you need to replace the rod in the future u will need to buy the new crankshaft as well, as the newer cranks have a larger pin for the rod. HTH

That was a myth, they never changed the rod bushing size. (Even Simon agreed) If they did like 10 other brand rods would work anyway.
