I don't know the weight but I can tell you that the Shimo is a much better chassis. For one, the aluminum used for the Shimo chassis is much stronger. It's also chamfered. While it might not be worth, the $104 Tower Hobbies wants, it is worth twice as much as the 3racing chassis. You can find the Shimo for $75 and the 3Racing for $30 at RC Union.
