Part of tires is also setup. However I indeed think its funny too that some people like certain tires while others hate them. I tried the Muchmore 32s that everyone (all the fast guys) in my club was using and was absolutely terrible on them. Car was pushing on entry and lose on exit. Tried multiple runs, and could never get them to work. Bolted a set of Rides under and all issues solved. Go figure.
