Don't shave those they are for the tranny case... Just dremel with caution take your time and shave it down as flush as possible. I used an exacto knife in a rush. And to mention I went back to the stock brace with the B option. I liked it better on our dirt and lay out. I couldn't get the shaved mod to rotate as well on our lay out. Lots of tight turns..
