Yep..not rocket science. Newer racers sometimes feel that a faster engine will make them faster on the track. Not true unless you can handle the power and not overdrive.
If you are bashing, feel free to blow your tires off of the rim. We all have fun in different ways with these things. Just trying to give those that get what I am saying something to think about.
I always appreciate the data in this thread from those that have experience in the subject matter. Those that have actually tested their proposed engine/pipe/manifold combos with several different users provide invaluable valid input.
I always tell the new racers I help at the track that getting info is good, but you always have to take into consideration the validity of it based on the source. ;-)
