I guess my motor temp could hit over 186C, but I installed battery bars to help coolling the motor post ( to minimize wire loose problem ).
Ditch the heatsink. The problem with those heatsinks is they don't completely surround the entire can and don't effectively give you any benefit when they don't. Also, if your motor gets excessively hot to melt the wiring off of it, tear it down and do a rebuild and check for black wire in the windings. That typically indicates a burnt winding which will add internal resistance (a lot of it) and can lead to a smoking motor or worse, your ESC if it's not protected against shorts.
