Opinion on how much of the antenna needs to run up the tube? Without bunching it up in the reciever box my antenna tube is about 6" long and extends out of the body. Would prefer it to be shorter and not stick out but not sure if I will have reception issues at the track.
Ok to coil some of it up in the reciever box?

I have seen other trucks with just a stub of an antenna so I'm thinking it's ok but don't want to lose signal at the track.
