I think you will find that the Parma 12th scale tires will hold up better. I realize it wasn't all of the Jaco lots, but some of them had a tendency for the wheels to break easily.
If you are looking for longer wear (less chunking), get the Parma Pink rears and then do superglue on the sides of either the purple (stock) or magenta (mod or low traction carpet) fronts
Every set of Jaco's I have used, the wheels have broken before the tire has worn out..
