I had a quick question for ya about the TC3. Do you recommend getting titanium ball studs? I read that the off-road guys are putting the titanium studs with hex heads on their cars. Didnt know if it was helpful in on-road or not. Also, if it is used, what kind should I get? The only ones with hex-heads that I found are from Losi and they are different sizes than the ones used on the TC3. Any help would be appreciated.
Titanium ball studs are probably not necessary on a tc3. They're too small to offer a significant weight difference. In terms of durability, I've never had a steel ballstud break on my tc3, but have broken one on my offroad stuff. But, if you want to spend the money, I'm sure the manufacturers have no problem.
