What's a good size motor to start with? I've never run a 2wd buggy before so there is going to be a sizable learning curve. Our track is rather large, geared a little more towards 1/8 scale with a pretty long straight. Lap times are mid 30s. Any advice is appreciated.
8.5s are probably the most common wind for 2wd Mod buggy because they can be turned down to 70-80% and drive smooth, or turned up to 100% and hang on even the lost strait-away.
