All, I've been doing some comparing between the B4 and the B4.1.
I noticed that all the suspension balls have new numbers for the B4.1. Also, some are labled as being silver or black. Anyone know why these are different? Is it too much for me to hope that the new part numbers are manufactured at a higher tolerance? Tighter fit to the ball ends? One thing that always bugged me about the B4 was how much slop it has at the ball ends.
the new ball studs have a hex in them to screw them on. short and long refers to how high the ball is from the base. the .200, .300 and .400 refer to how long the treads are on the stud. I would replace the balls as needed unless you want to drill your cups for easy adjustments.
