No longer the case with the new Big Bores that come with the RB6. Aluminum cap already there.
I think these shocks look awesome aesthetically and design.
Agreed.
And for those complaining about price the Kyosho BB's are $83 a pair on Amain. When compared to the price of the V2's, these shocks have an aluminum cap and an aluminum o-ring cap along with several off-set spring cups!
Look around besides A Main Hobbies, A full set of Kyosho BB's can be had for $109.00 If you know where to look. Plus I personally hate A Main with a passion.
Price seems reasonable to me! I just hope it all gets put into a kit so that for a little extra money you get a whole car!
I am in no way putting down AE. I run exclusively AE vehicles, But this shock business has been aweful for them. Even top team drivers are running Kyosho Springs at least. That would be very wise for AE to do (and Bundle Kyosho springs in the kits). A lot of racers at my local track have already gone to Kyosho BB's on their biggies and trucks, so when the AE's come out, I'm sure I'll be able to get a killer deal on very good proven shocks on the cheap.
