Talking Piston/Sleeve

Good evening Ray A Racing

I sent you a piston/sleeve for resizing. This was a .28 and it wasn't really too bad, but, bad enough. You resized the pair and now they are back in the engine, break in done and running well. My original problem was no bottom end what so ever on the truggy. I think there were several issues with this truggy like composite clutch shoes, bad bearings all of which were new when installed. So, I changed and put a fresh set of bearings in, and a new clutch. Engine after break in did start to product more bottom end but, not as snappy as I had expected. Well, come to find out, the clutches was worn out because the shoes were some cheap soft metal shoes. Well, 3rd time was a charm, a fresh set of shoes, new bearings, and the truggy seems much better.

I still think the engine should product more gut wrenching bottom end so I am going to try a JP1 pipe to bring the bottom end online sooner.

Anyway. Thanks much for the resizing. I'm sure the engine needed it and I can tell the engine is more lively as before, there wasn't any power from the engine at all.

Thanks again.

I'll send more your way as they come up.
