FYI, for anyone reading, M3x20 were the perfect size on my buggy to go through the ball and locknut. A 25mm screw would be too long on the front end and would hit the steering components, unless you put the locknut in front of the front shock tower.
I ll measure tomorrow and confirm. We use a washer on the front side as well which I forgot to mention. our fit is tight very close the the steering components but no rubbing.
