we use m3x25 then use a locknut on the other had to keep things together. I dont use locktide on that screw. just make sure your lock nut is in good shape.
FYI, for anyone reading, M3x20 were the perfect size on my buggy to go through the ball and locknut. A 25mm screw would be too long on the front end and would hit the steering components, unless you put the locknut in front of the front shock tower.
