The charger input wires going to the car battery will get pretty warm before you damage a car battery. If you feel the wires getting warm, pull it. Leave the car off, connect directly to the battery.
It works,or at least it powers up. I never tried a battery with it,so I am assuming it will operate normally,so I guess it's not totally junk!!
Dum question, but will the battery have enough juice to supply the charger while charging with the car not running,or do I need to start the motor,
( I hope not!!?) I will try and finish charging my battery tomorrow. I like this charger so much,I bought another one without even trying the d.c. leads. Thanks,Huck50
