Not to sound like a dick but it's pretty much a complete waste of time for offroad. Use some weight to the receiver to offset the esc. Thats it. The rest is for tuning. Too many other variables in offroad to worry about a perfectly balanced/coss weighted car. Even the best in the business dont do it.

If its just fun and something you'd like to do, it is a hobby so go for it. I'd suggest using wheels with out tires because the rubber and inserts may effect results.
