Witnessed a guys 22sct at track with only trimmed cups pop the steering rack balls coming down from biggest jump on track. Swapped to smaller xxx-sct rods,balls, and cups and still did it. Ended up with .030 washer under ball stud and i think he might of filed a little bit.Finished 5min qual and 8min main w/o a popped cup and posted lowest lap time ever on track with short course truck, didnt win but pretty impressive for his first time out with truck. Its a shame that such a nice truck can get bashed, seems it shouldnt be in those hands in the first place, they may want to stick with a RTR so they can blame someone else since there's no way they could've made a mistake assembling and setup ;-) You never get the complete story, if you did you'd have an obvious answer .
