All this was zero ESC timing, pretesting on my 10.5 before I fit my new 17.5 and start dialing that in for a big event (never run 17.5 before), with the 10.5 though at one point I had it up to 40deg timing on the can, still running cool with the fan being on it, though also a cold night.
I've seen a few guys run the motor repeatedly in the 80degC range, but I get nervous if mine get's into the 70's.
They don't seem to get as hot as a lot of others, especially the LRP's etc.
