I break it in on the car, I use the plop it down and run it in method in 3 and 5 minute increments with a slightly rich tune as in the first post from how to break in an engine. I figure most of the new RTR cars mimic this method and if the top builders are doing it that way why not me.
I think the 2013 pipe is a good pipe but the 2058 is a bit better. But there should be no disappointments with your 2013. From what I hear and have seen the 2058 and the jp3 pipes seem to be great pipes on all engines, clearly some nova guys will argue their pipes are better but you can put a 2058 on any engine and have it run good, some are better for a more specific need but for all around good pipes the 2058 and jp3 are those go to pipes.
