I used the clicker once just to see if I liked it and I didn't. The truck has plenty of entrance steering so I did not feel a need.
In my case (and a majority of other owners) gluing it would not "ruin" it, I would just lose a function that I/we don't use anyway.
Why glue & loose a good tuning option ?
tighten down the lock nut flush or till it bottoms out , all you need to to do for lock up...
