I know the top drivers like jorn and hupo run 4 hole pistons, but the tracks that they run on are mostly have way bette maintained and are smooth.

I love :
6 hole piston all around 1.3mm
25 caster,
3,5 rear toe in
1,5 antisquat
15g extra weight in front
shorty in the back
25wt rear
35wt front
dark green springs rear
losi silver spring front

my track is hardpacked dirt, no real big jumps, low/mid grip, rutted/dusty

We have the 4 hole pistons because we need the pack. With 6 holes the car handled great, but we tend to have larger jumps at our track and it would bottom and kick badly. 4 holes solved this for us. If we had smaller jumps they probably wouldn't be needed.
