Same setup here. Brand new car and I've run one day on an indoor track and then I ran one day on a really loose outdoor track. Halfway through my outdoor day, the inner bearing was in pieces.
I had the same issues...to fix it I used some Teflon tape (the stuff plumbers use) and put one wrap around the bearing taking notice to only barely overlap the bearing on the back side. Then once I pressed the bearing into place, I used a razor blade a cut off the excess tape from the front. I have not had a failure since. Some people have used locktite and CA, but I don't use those near my bearings if I can help it. Us this makes it a little easier to remove the outer race if the bearing does implode again.
