I am going to "boost" my 17.5 until I get the skill sets to handle a lower turn motor. I have the 428stock software installed. Can someone tell me how the different timing and boost functions interact? Or, where I can read about it? I searched the Speed Passion threads here and onroad, but I did not see anything.
Also, every now and then from a dead stop, when I hit the throttle, there is a delay and then the car will accelerate. As long as the car is rolling, there is never a hesitation;only occasionally from a dead stop. I am usung a Savox servo, but with a Futaba radio system, and I am using a large cap. When I had the same esc installed in my onroad car (identical electronics, and NO cap) it never hesitated. I have tried the B4.1 with a cap, no cap, new sensor cable, switched motors, different settings on the esc, and I even took the radio apart and cleaned the throttle. All to no avail. Any suggestions?
If there is a throttle delay, 99% of the time is SENSOR issue...either sensor cable is bad or the sensor board inside the motor is damaged...check them out and replace them accordingly.
