You may not have stripped anything... The bolt that threads into the antenna rod is held down by a nut at the bottom. From time to time they do come loose. Take the radio apart in half & tighten the screw & nut, that should solve your problem. If the problem persists just send it to Hitec and they'll take care of the problem for you.
