My outdoor hiflow has every vent but the rear fender squares cut out (didn't want to compromise the part that's most likely to fail). Even then it needs more venting, but it's all she's got.
My indoor hiflow has moderate venting and if I use it outdoor with any wind, there's no clearing the big jump due to the parachute effect.
Cut what you can out and reinforce with shoegoo and drywall tape to get the structural integrity back. Maybe try it on an old body till your sold on it, make it swiss cheese
