You should be fine. The input voltage is in parallel so it doesn't increase but the double feed may affect the internal BEC of the ESC and the Castle's is sort of weak current wise.

I usually use a very short aileron extension with the positive lead disconnected so I don't weaken the ESC's RX plug's lead (that way I don't have to power up the ESCs when programing them with the PC).
