I think the plastic arm (where your finger is) is installed upside down.... Unless you just had it installed up side down in your picture (and not running on the car that way)....Quite a few guys run them upside down like you show it, (by mistake), cause when you press the front ball stud thru...for the plastic arm to end up in the correct orientation, it "has" to be pressed thru from the "smaller" holed side of the arm, and not the slightly larger tapered side...the way it should have been manufactured on that piece (IE: larger hole on the opposite side).....

not sure how big of a difference this makes running(prob not much), but when it's flipped over from the way the book shows it...it looks to exhibit more of an arcing motion to the linkage, rather than a more precise straighter motion.... Joe
