Thing I have noticed with mine is from time to time when my truck feels overly hooked up OR really loose (lots of wheel spin) its best to knock the punch and timing down a level or 2. Had it thermal on me a couple times but always ran well with new settings. Also make sure your spur gear is clean had some really packed in dirt deep in the spur wd40 and a tooth brush lowered my temps by 10 degrees over very little debris in 2 tooth valleys. I always roll my truck to feel for grit if its there get it out.
