Just send it away to be serviced, ring Model engines and get the phone number for orchid hobbies. (they are in Niddrie Vic)
I sent my radio off after the menu started to reset it self, while using it.
They recalibrated the whole unit, now its like new.
And best of all it only cost $35 bucks aussie!
I have had my 3D ,for over 5 years now and this was the only time it has needed attention.
All my radio parts are Hitec, HFX speedys, 925 servos, and of course receivers.
The only time I use another speedy is when I run my 8 turn in the tourer, and thats a Tekin g-10.
I see no need to use other stuff as Hitec products have served me well for over 10 years of service.
Good luck
