There are a couple of things I would recommend to do first if anybody is having issues with their truck.

1. check the left/right balance. I ran a string along the center line of the truck using the shock towers. I ended up adding about 3 ounces of weight to the motor side of the truck to balance out the weight from the battery.

2. Check your diff fluids. If you're running the slipper setup, you want a much thicker oil in the front. This will take away much of the truck's inherent twitchyness. I was running 30k/7k and liked how that slowed up the steering.

3. check your springs. The AE matched sets are no good. The rears are too soft. I ended up using blue fronts in the rear with yellow fronts in the front. This really helped balance the handling and especially helped with the jumps.

4. Use Jconcepts +3mm wheels. The wider wheelbase effectively lowers the cg and pushes your truck out to the roar legal limit.

I just thought I'd compile and share some quick tips that can be done cheaply and quickly (well, except the diff fluids) to improve the truck. This has been all stuff I've done and can attest to their benefits.
