I'm just wanting to upgrade the suspension parts only, the other stuff won't benefit the SC8 anyway.....Right now it has the geometry of the RC8B which is better for more tight tracks and concentrating on side to side roll center action.....the RC8.2 geometry is more of a jumping, BMX style track setup, like the tracks they've been racing the last couple years....it's more like the original RC8 geometry except more updated and slightly Lower COG....

I think the newer .2 jumping setup could benefit the SC8, but the lower COG would make no difference at all....So I'll use the RTR towers with the older BB Shocks

The parts add up to no more than $150 from what I can see.....so it's not a bad route.....but if you don't have an SC8 yet, just go for the SC8.2.....
