I broght it in the shop and had John look at it to confirm it was a POS and was fried.
The receiver went into fail-safe when it was plugged in and the servo was hot to the touch.
I am using a stock (RTR) AE transmitter with very little adjustments aside from trim.
If it was an analog servo, the factory default framerate for the XP3 system may have still fried it.
Aside from that.......I didn't know John had magic powers and could tell something was a POS just by looking at it.
Pretty sure there is no "failsafe" on that system either......the POT was probably fried in the servo causing to backfeed electrical mumbo jumbo into the Rx so that it would not bind.
I have purchased many hitec servos over the past 25 years and have rarely, if ever had any issues. Best bang for your buck servos out there.
Just my 2 cents.....Hitec are not POS.
