when in doubt go with square armor. pretty much the only tire i run. also i keep exagons and battle star on hand just in case. micro contacts are good to have but work best on hard pack IMO. i always run blue unless its winter. also use some reds.
+1. Most folks are running the new closed cell foam also. The stock foams are good also. Closed cell will give the tire more side bite.
