The main gear will need an adaptor. This is the FF-03 gear adaptor that has had the center drilled out to fit the TT-01 shaft. I also took a pin to put in there and shaved it to perfectly fit the width of the shaft. This is VERY important as your gear goes over the top of the pin and helps hold it in. First you put the gear on, then slide the adapter, then slide the pin in... then you attach the gear to the adapter. It sounds complicated but works pretty easily once you get the parts.

I decided to give your mod a try tonight and I scalped the spur gear adapter off my FF-03. I installed the adapter the other way around compared to you as I found it easier to then bolt on the spur gear going through the rear of the chassis. I had to drill the adapter out to 5mm so it would slip onto the rear shaft stub.
I am using the Tamiya metal motor mount and have an 81T spur matched to a 45T pinion, all 64 pitch. My FDR drops to 4.68. I plan to run a TCS race this weekend with the TT-01 using this mod in GT2. I'm limited to the silver can motor and with the lower FDR I may have a better chance against the TB-03, TA-05 and TA-06 sedans. We'll see.
