Reflex Racing springs on asphalt with great results. These work with the stock retainers. If your in the position of buying new springs I would start with these two (HPI and Reflex). I do not know anyone that runs the Xray springs on their Tamiyas.
I have the large retainers coming in the mail. Those reflex springs look pretty nice.. do they hold their shape/tension well over time? Also, is there a reason you/others dont run tamiya springs?
