These new rubber tires may have been designed specifically for the Tamiya foam wheels. However, the current foam wheels weren't designed for rubber tires. Folks were putting small vent holes on the foam wheels when using the Pit tires. Rule number 33 under the Tire and Wheels section of the 'General rules' prohibits this. I've accidently glued up Pit tires on the Tamiya foam wheels without putting the vent holes. It simply does not work.
