Well, it depends on what you mean by "barely" - the DB01 & 501/511 share a number of things:their suspension geometry, f/r suspension arms, steering bridge, f/r spindles and hubs, CVD's, slipper assembly, the same drive train (including ball or gear diffs, pullies, belts) wing mounts...I'm sure there are more, but you get the idea.

No, the DB series is not the all out racer that the carbon chassis' 501/511/502 are, but for most club racers, it's plenty of buggy to be competitive.
